INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT Documentary: Los Angeles Panel Discussion, Q&A, and Test Screening

Artists of the original Wax Trax! roster from FRONT 242, MINISTRY, MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT, and the REVOLTING COCKS discuss the independent record store and label and how it fit into the 1980s & 1990s underground. Audience Q&A to follow discussion. Ticket purchase includes a limited edition WAX TRAX! poster.

In addition, a WAX TRAX! pop-up shop will be set up in the theater for one day only. The shop will open the archives and offer original pressings, rare collectables and memorabilia of posters, vinyl/CD, and apparel.

As a special bonus, FREE admission to a private cast and crew test-screening of INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: The Story of Wax Trax! Records will be available to each ticket holder.

The INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT documentary will be played immediately BEFORE the artist’s panel/Q&A and will be the only west coast test screening of this film.

Jazz Tribute Awards & Concert- Johnny Mandel – The 2017 Jazz Tribute Awards will celebrate Grammy and Oscar wining composer/arrange Johnny Mandel.

Johnny has worked with Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, Anita O’Day, Diane Schuur, and Shirley Horn, to name a few. He has also composed, conducted and arranged for numerous movie soundtracks and TV series. The Shelly Manne New Talent Award will be presented to brilliant young trumpeter Joey Curreri….

Chris Isaacson and Matthew Herrmann present the Los Angeles debut of BIANCA DEL RIO in PEACHES CHRIST’s hit parody SHEETLEJUICE at the Montalban Theatre, December 2nd at 7:00pm, in the heart of Hollywood.

The afterlife will be a hell of a party with the LA Premiere of this all-drag, theatrical parody starring everyone’s favorite Queen of Mean, BIANCA DEL RIO, in the title role of everyone’s favorite Ghost with the Most.

Written and Directed by cult icon and Queen of the Midnight Mass, PEACHES CHRIST, this production and her San Francisco Superstars are ready to haunt the Southland with a show that is not to be missed!

Killer Klowns from Outer Space Live Concert — New Date – In 1988, John Massari composed the music score for ‘Killer Klowns from Outer Space’, which quickly became a Sci-Fi cult classic! It has been a desire of his to reawaken the soul of this iconic film score and add a fresh dimension by utilizing the powerful majesty of a full classical orchestra. Now, the man who brought us a cavalcade of synth and horror, will do just that– conduct the Killer Klowns score with a live orchestra at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood!

*Plus- A super secret surprise band preforming the Killer Klowns from Outer Space theme song!
